Ahh I do love Robin Williams. Jumanji was one of the first films of his that I watched when I was younger. He was really funny in his cameo appearance on Friends too.

So I am home now from a very busy day to update everyone on my passionate love for all things Robin Williams.

Little known game he was did a live presentation of himself playing, which was Spore, a little known game by Will Wright/Maxis who made the original Sims and the Sim City franchise:

This video is old and I can't find a direct recording, so I guess this is all there is of it... literally someone holding a camcorder I remember this, because I thought about checking it out... I think it had a lot of unpatched bugs and issues running on certain rigs, so didn't want to drop the money for it.

Even when he was actor though, he always gave the impression it was actually him on screen and not the "role". He was that iconic. It was like different lives if Robin Williams was put into different scenarios.

I picked Aladdin because for me that was a fantastic memory to have around the age and made me really appreciate the movie. Plus it being one of my favorite movies of all time... can't have the same movie without Robin Williams as Genie.

I would've loved to have seen RW in a Batman role... I think that easily would've been one of his final great works... sad thinking what we lost:

Oh wow, apparently Joe Rogan had met him when Williams had waited in a line to talk to him... didn't recognize him right away. He was a cool dude. I would've loved to have heard everything he had to say about current events.

I was OK on Mrs Doubtfire. We were forced to watch it over and over in school, so that might not have helped I found it to be a very moody comedy for me, which isn't my favorite. The funny parts were iconic. I can see why you would say it is cheesy, because of how the serious bits overlapped with the comedic areas and it felt like two movies. It was hard to take seriously, which is funny to say that because it's a comedy, but I good comedy makes people think and consider without them necessarily knowing they're thinking if that makes sense... the story felt forced to support the gender-swapping concept of the movie.

Yes and I think not many will be able to appreciate it now as it was a different era. He effected the culture directly with his humor because he set a standard where many difficult topics could be tackled and the way he tackled it, it somehow made just about anyone feel better in the end... you wouldn't think his death didn't reflect his legacy, but it was the worst part... he had dementia and it effectively killed him. I remember his family talking about it. With his mind being different, maybe it's not surprising genetically also others things could've been lurking there that were "unique"...

He had past problems with substance abuse and struggled with depression, but was behaving in strange ways that Susan couldn’t understand. Lewy Body dementia is a type of dementia that is “progressive, irreversible, and always fatal”, according to expert Dr. Bruce Miller. Abnormal deposits of the protein alpha-synuclein form masses called Lewy bodies that damage the brain. The disease increases anxiety, can cause hallucinations, mood swings, may negatively impact REM sleep, and can result in fluctuating levels of alertness and attention. Lewy body dementia can be hard to diagnose because Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease cause similar symptoms. Scientists think that LBD might be related to these diseases, or that they sometimes happen together.

His Law and Order SVU was sooo good! He was evil in that episode. I wish they followed up with it but sadly he died

Talent isn't what it used to be certainly and he will always be remembered for that most of all. I remember a time when cameos used to something people really took notice of. Now they're side gigs tossed around to puff up the credits screen, but not necessarily memorable... it's not enough to just throw someone in a role and expect them to perform it well in one day. It takes a lot of talent to really make just a short role simply iconic... I think because we had more people like that, the bar was higher and that really did benefit everyone creatively... and newer, but also talented people could get noticed off the backs of great work... but that great work, like many things media-related, it's not what it used to be... it's more about the budgeting, the special effects and creating as much merch as possible to support the production of a movie. Doesn't seem to matter as much whether theaters fill up or not?... Hollywood has lost its cultural impact in that way, I think, because of the loss of talent like Williams, who kept the craft elevated and that umbrella open for new people to come in and push the craft further. I always held the impression that people like Williams really truly cared and supported creativity, and not just follower counts or movies made & sold etc...
