I would note that the political campaign was fully covered in the web coverage and her letter will doubtless pay further dividends for the campaign after David leaves the house and there is further coverage.

Do you not recognise satire? It is actually not shown as a quote and is an entirely plasible sentiment, even if containing typos. The OP deliberately mis-spelled the name to flag it as satire.
