![]() ![]() ![]() Ron Paul has been routinely scoffed at by the establishment in his own party and the media who lately have been changing their tactics from outright ignoring him to suggesting he's a racist of some sort and has no chance of beating Obama. The corporate media has lately been pushing this as a Romney/Gingrich battle and have given Ron Paul little time (in one debate, only 89 seconds) yet Ron Paul has a lot of supporters who have given him enough money to mount some kind of a campaign and he has clawed his way up in the polls. If he can pull of a win in Iowa, ![]() The last 3 minutes of this video are POWERFUL. The older I get, the harder it is for something to truly move me but this did. John Stewart clip briefly mentions how the media ignores him. How the media is already preparing in the event Ron Paul wins Iowa. This is one example where a commentator (and one of the debate moderators) outright says if Ron Paul wins Iowa it won't count. In trying to discredit him, some "conservative" pundits have recently resorted to tactics usually used by people on the left which is to dig up old stuff and try to make them look racist. One Ron Paul supporter does a stellar job in defending his candidate on this radio show. Recently some people claimed that standing firm on his dovish stance on Iran (which came up in the final Iowa debate) lost him Iowa but this new poll seems to suggest otherwise. I live in Iowa and I didn't even know this. I think he's up there because of the young vote and because it isnt Romney. I might vote for him if he promises to not give cuts the department of education. His commercials are badass tho

He wants to get rid of the department of education. He's not against education, just the feds controlling it. Regan ran in 1980 saying he'd get rid of the department of education but it never came to fruition.

He always wins online polls, There's no way he'll actually win the vote though. People who are online are the least likely to actually go out and vote. Older people actually vote, younger people just make a fuss online.
