Oli Beale, 33, posted a handwritten review of his neighbours' late night singing session to the communal notice board at their block of flats in Hackney, East London. © Twitter / Oli Beale He later uploaded the photo to Twitter, which has now been retweeted hundreds of times. The note is addressed "to the people that kept us up all night by singing/screaming on their balcony". He then sarcastically thanks them for their "epic performance". The advertising creative continued: "Your terrace faces 115 windows so you really did have the perfect stage. I'm sure you're keen to hear our verdict." Beale then ranked each of their tunes out of 10, starting by giving their rendition of 'Pinball Wizard' a "terrible" three. After a performance of 'Walk This Way' by Aerosmith, he gave a decent review for their cover of Elton John's 'Tiny Dancer'. "Actually very good," he wrote. "I've always said it: if you're going to be woken up after 2 hours' sleep, it might as well be to a herd of morons screaming 'Tiny Dancer'." He ended the note by writing: "I hate you." Speaking about the note after it became a viral hit, he said: "I was lying in bed getting more and more wound up about it and then I just thought I would write a little critique of their songs as a way of getting through the night. "The poor guys, they were probably just having a party. It's not like I'm striding around absolutely fuming." Beale's previous complaint to Virgin Atlantic about his in-flight experience also became a viral success in 2009.
