I think they did well...but lets be honest....what can you compare them to...their previous weeks have been awful so surely everyone gets better with time. If you look at the song it wasn't very hard to sing imo. Also only one brother seemed to have found a personality...whether it is his personality or one he found is debatable. The other brother the one who looks like he is playing the guitar but isn't might aswell not even be there as is still bland.

Not blaming anyone Diablo its the facts as we know them and 'Five hundred miles' was pure pandering to that audience.

It would be good to see a map of the Uk and a percentage of where the votes for them come from. Either they have very dedicated and rich family or they have closet fans I don't know. They must be doing something right to still be there. I don't know a single person who votes for them or even finds them as "okay"...all the people I know can't work out where their votes come from. If people genuinely like the lads then they should come out and voice their opinions I don't get why they are all staying hidden.

I mean they must have fans because they are in F4 but I just dont know where they are coming from.

A heck of a lot of people watch X-factor compared with people on forums though and whilst there fanbase might not be shown on the internet they obviously have a lot of support.

I have to say though that on another messageboard they do have a few fans.On the favourite act poll on digital spy they are 2nd with 193 votes.

Thanks Scooby

I thought the MacDonald fans would actually be people who fancied them. I thought Ray easily got the mums and grans votes because he comes across as that cheeky chappy plus the old songs would relate to an older audience. It is quite unusual at this stage in the show to have an act that 90% of people think should have gone long ago...based on talent. I think its quite worrying having them got so far and there is a small chance of them even winning now. How they have never been in the bottom two is scary.
