The 55-year-old tennis coach survived another week despite being the worst dancer in the competition, according to a former fellow struggler. Last night, viewers saw Radio One DJ Scott Mills booted off the show and he said it might be some time before the same happens to Judy. Scott, 40, said: “She would be the first to say she is not the best dancer, but she comes across as a really warm person. “Judy is not afraid to laugh at herself. "She knows she is not going to win but she’s having a good time and people can see she is really trying. “There are a lot of people on the show this year that are young pop stars and TV presenters. “But Judy is perfect. "She is not a showbiz star, she’s just giving it her best shot and that comes across.” Judy has been odds-on for the boot after a series of below par performances with Anton Du Beke. But a flurry of bets has caused bookmakers to slash her odds of winning the competition. Judy, the mother of Wimbledon-winning sons Andy and Jamie, is now 40-1 to win having been 200-1 this time last week. Judy is perfect. She is not a showbiz star, she’s just giving it her best shot and that comes across Scott Mills Ladbrokes spokesman Jessica Bridge said: “We’re having kittens over the payout we’re going to face if Judy and Anton defy the odds and win Strictly.” Last night, Scott and his professional partner Joanne Clifton’s Halloween horror show saw them pitched in a dance-off with Alison Hammond and Aljaz Scorjanec. And with judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli all opting to save the roly-poly presenter Hammond, 39, it was curtains for Scott. But at least it ended the indignity of him having to see other celebrities in the raw. Scott said: “Most people have seen each other in various states of undress. “You can be wandering backstage and suddenly there is Mark Wright in his underpants – there is always someone undressing. "You definitely can’t be shy on Strictly.” Regular host Claudia Winkleman, 42, was forced to pull out of presenting duties at the eleventh hour on Saturday after one of her children fell ill. Zoe Ball, 43, stepped in to front the show alongside Tess Daly, 45. Strictly continues to thrash X Factor in the weekend TV ratings war after pulling in two million more viewers for a second week. The hit BBC1 ballroom dancing show had an average audience of 9.7 million on Saturday night, while its ITV rival pulled in 7.4 million, including viewers of its catchup +1 channel. The X Factor audience was down around 400,000 on the equivalent show in 2013, despite the return of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as judges and an instant elimination. http://www.express.co.uk/news/showbi...tion-dances-on Last edited by erinp5; 03-11-2014 at 12:17 PM. |

I like Judy, she and Anton have a great dance partnership, Judy is such a lovely unassuming lady on that show. She gives it her all in training, even though she is not a natural to dancing you can tell she still loves the dancing. I can't see Judy winning this Strictly, but if she did against the odds, I don't think I would mind

No, she won't win but she has done really good to survive this long and really she isn't that bad.
I quite like the way she handles the dances. She will never be a good dancer but she has improved and this week she did really good I thought. |

She needs to get the **** out ASAP. Seeing her mug every other second during Wimbledon is enough for the year.

Judy doesn't even move so it would make a show called Strictly Come Dancing look really silly if Judy then went on to win.
I do wonder what Pixie's gonna wear this week though.

The annual Blackpool Tower special will air next Saturday night on November 15 from 7PM on BBC One, it was confirmed today. It’s the latest special of the series to air at the historic ballroom venue, having previously snubbed the location back in 2012 due to the costs of transporting the stage and studio equipment from its usual London base. Last night we saw the latest elimination of the series as Scott Mills was (finally) booted out in the Strictly Come Dancing 2014 results, leaving a total of ten acts remaining in the competition.
