The Western World is praying for a Trump victory. Even the ones not brave enough to admit it yet.

The celebrity stuff is always stupid. Those adverts full of Hollywood folks in 2016 were painful. Y'know, the ones where they pretended to be being ironic about being celebrities and thus important, but you could tell they actually do think it.

An endorsement from someone like Taylor Swift, still has incredible effect. Of course, she hasn't given one out yet for president.
Apparently they were blaming Swift for the UK inflation rate not going down last month |

I could take Soy boy of the ignore list if he gives an apology to me in front of the forum for calling me a "rapist apologist"
It really doesn't matter to me. I've give him a second chance before and will forgive and forget again. What he said about me was disgusting and he won't communicate with me again until he gives a meaningful apology. If he doesn't want to, then that's fine too. No sweat of my sack. |

She'll lose again embarrassingly. OBama beats Trump easily IMO. I think she beats him in a landslide./

Actually to be fair, I'm not busy, I shall look it up... ... Oh, it was the thread where he was defending Russell Brand and the accusations of rape against him, under the bizarre QAnon notion that all of the allegations against Brand were invented by The Deep State (I think??) because Brand had been posting Trump-positive political stuff on his channels for clout. I said "Being a Trump fan isn't an excuse for being a rape apologist". I suppose I could have amended to, "Being supportive of Trump isn't a good excuse for rape apology" if he'd prefer it to be less direct. The intent was to highlight that it's probably not a good idea to defend someone against sexual assault allegations and call their accusers into question on the basis that they happen to align with your political views (or at least pretend to for YouTube views). The statement stands I'm afraid. That thread was full of rape-apology and rape-denial from Brand supporters unfortunately. Yuck. If anything I'd like a full meaningful public apology from Alf, for making me read it again and ruining my evening. |

Donald Trump's latest effort to distance himself from the controversial Project 2025 has left the former president's conservative allies reeling.
Trump on Saturday held a rally in Michigan, during which he broached the subject of the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025, which is run by many of Trump's allies and those who worked in his administration. In his speech, Trump called the plan to overhaul the executive and judicial branches with MAGA loyalists a "seriously extreme" vision for the country. In the past, he merely said that some of its policies went too far and that he didn't know much about it. Trump changed his tune over the weekend, saying, "Like some on the right, the severe right, came up with this Project 2025 and I don't even know - some of them I know who they are - but they are very, very conservative...Just like you have, they are sort of the opposite of the radical left. You have the radical left and you have the radical right." But this left some conservatives, including a Republican senator ally, scratching their heads.
