A complaint of blackmail in relation to photographs of Wayne Rooney has been dropped by police.
Cheshire Police received a complaint on Monday after images, which were shared widely online, appeared to show the ex-England footballer asleep in a chair with unknown women posing beside him. Officers said they were satisfied that no offences had taken place. The Derby County manager said he did not wish to take the matter any further, the force added. Rooney's representatives have previously declined to comment on the nature of the images. ------ Obviously the blackmail thing was complete nonsense |

I've never liked what I've seen and heard of Rooney actually.
He certainly doesn't seem to care much about how his antics affect his wife and children. Last edited by joeysteele; 28-07-2021 at 10:53 AM. |

I don't think that Rooney is the devil incarnate, but I am with you Joey that he does appear to have a selfish side to him where he doesn't seem to care that his children in particular when it comes to these scandals are gonna have to hear people bitch about their Dad, and they themselves might even face bullying depending on how old they are.

If he’d been a bin man, she wouldn’t have looked at him, but he isn’t and she’s got several million reasons to bite the bullet and get on with it.
I took some outrageous liberties when I was with my first wife, but I was young and dumb then, and thought that every girl I met was put on earth just for me. It took my wife about five years to realise and kick me out, but I asked for it. I’m married again now, and there’s no way on God’s green earth that I’d take a chance on screwing this one up, somehow I fell on my feet this time. |

Yeah true but something is keeping her there , she's been with him a long time and keeps forgiving him . Some people get themselves in a rut.

…I find it really difficult to comment on something like this..they’ve known each other since she was 12yrs old and are childhood sweethearts…because her adulthood is so wrapped up in and around him, so much of how she defines herself as a person would probably be attached to that and him as well…but yeah, before he was even a thought as a professional football player, she loved him and that love has been a part of her adulthood…
…all a very sad situation with his betrayals of her… |

Colleen made a choice and for the moment at least continues to choose to be with him. Relationships are complicated. It's basically up to them. The 4 kids didn't have a choice though and still don't, so it's them i ultimately feel sorry for
