Apologies to anyone who has one of those long puffer coats.. but they always make me smile when I see two skinny ankles and feet hanging out at the bottom of such a huge coat !

Oh I love that people are slagging off the school run mums that wear them coats. They are literally THE worst people on the school run. They annoy me so much when I'm picking the kids up. Always in the bloody way, walking so slow and all next to each other not letting others pass, showing off cos they spent most of the day at the gym, get a job you lazy sods, and all chatter non stop about the nativity. So yeah let's hate those long coat douchebags

Just a lovely Christmas Day with the family, sharing dinner with all the trimmings.
Not interested in presents but there will be a stocking with goodies from hubby and kids.
The one thing I really want is an improvement in my health, been such an awful few weeks of late but I think I have turned the corner.

We had a lovely takeaway together last evening.
Son, daughter and her partner came around, they had all the boxes out of the loft, decorations more or less done and dusted and boxes back up in loft.
Just a few tweaks in the kitchen to do.
Daughter has organised catering for my birthday on Friday, big one so a quaint little afternoon tea for me and my girls, men only allowed for waitering duties.

I want a curling wand, though I'm more excited about seeing what others think of the gifts I got them.

not sure if i'm going to get that though

and i'm gonna do a moment of silence at christmas for the innocents in Gaza, those who are being starved to death by the Puppet Little Benny and his evil masters from the shadows

I'm a self-indulgent sort these days so there's nothing substantial that I really want as I'd have just bought it already... so in terms of Christmas presents I've become the sort of boring oldie who just wants thoughtful/personal/interesting presents rather than anything "big". If there's some obscure thing that seems fun or useful, or something with a personal touch, basically.

MiL has given us all a budget of £100 and asked us to pick our own gifts however so I'm currently pondering, "What is around £100 that I'd like, but wouldn't actually spend £100 on otherwise" .

Low-key tempted to ask for £100 worth of plain socks just for the meme.
