I would go in with any of the past housemates, if only to meet them. If I had to choose, it might be a list something like this: Anna Darren Nichola Helen Paul Bubble Brian Dean Alison Jonny/Jade/Kate Shell As for the celebrity Big Brother people - I was very disappointed that Germaine Greer left the house before her time was up. I thought that Jeremy would have been in longer than Brigitte, but then that's the funny thing about Big Brother - you just never know. |

After the poor reception that BB3 received from the general public with reference to the bars and rich side/poor side, the producers had aimed to have a harmonious household. It certainly wasn't boring for us in there (perhaps some of us were bored on occasion) but it has become clear that getting along well doesn't necessarily create the most interesting viewing. I think we're the luckiest housemates in the fact that most of us are still friends and speak on and off. I would say that, in general, the boys are doing a better job at keeping up to date with one another than the girls. I do keep in touch with some of the people from BBAfrica, both housemates and production people. I have had three trips planned to Zambia over the past year but have not managed to get there yet due to work commitments. |

Lisa only got as good as she gave. I'm intrigued as to why you think she was handed a "poison chalice" all the same. She had the same warnings, the same chance to turn down the experience, the same 'everything' that we all had. Regarding the "windpipe" comment, as you rightly say, it was withdrawn immediately and anyone who watched could plainly see that it was a humourous reference to her own comments about choking, not an out-and-out threat. Being human, I fail - and I have never been one to cover up that fact. I also explained in the diary room that I didn't feel, as a Christian, that my behaviour at times had been a good example to others. ----- I'm sorry to say it's FAR TOO LONG since I spoke to Steph! And sadly, I've never been to visit her yet. In the house we were very good friends, nothing more than that. |

Contrary to what a lot of Jon Tickle fans would prefer to believe, Jon and I get on well in the real World. I think we're both mature enough to put our "incarceration" differences behind us (unlike some fans) and get on with it. BBAfrica question answered in a previous post. I've met Alex Sibley and he does whinge. I didn't spend long chatting to him though - would be nice to have more of a chance to meet him and then decide. |

I heading away again on Tuesday to do a conference about modern language teaching in secondary schools and after that I'm going to Glasgow to see my brother's finacee in panto and attempt to sort out one or two things for his wedding. I'll have to read the link more thoroughly before I return a verdict... |

It's impossible to say who would win any series if a different set of housemates was chosen. |

Coming in late always makes one an outsider and bonding is a problem. That is why, compared to those in at the start, the late comer is always handed the poison challace, just as Lisa was. Quote:

Even having used the UK/Africa swap suggestion, I do agree that it can't be easy being taken in later than the original 'starters' and this has been proved in the programme before. Surely though, doesn't the Africa swap suggest that it is possible for a newcomer to get further than their first possible eviction? |

Hi there.
I think it looks like Kenzie will win it, don't you reckon? I wanted Germaine to win it and was very disappointed that she left before her time was up. I don't mind between Bez and Kenzie but I don't want Brigitte to win. |

It's difficult to pinpoint but I would just prefer to see one of the others winning. If I had to choose them as housemates, I would rather live with either Bez or Kenzie.

Fair enough, Brigitte is a lot less manic as I thought she would be but I am not her biggest fan.
What did you think of John and Jackie? |

They were both classic housemates in their own ways. Being in the house with either of those two would be great entertainment and as long as you could take them with a pinch of salt, they would be irresistible comedy.

Didn't see BBLB, no.
Ray is busy with his radio programme in Dublin and is away on holiday at the moment if I remember correctly. |

Hi Cameron,
I know this subject is being covered in another thread however.... Looking back on the past Big Brothers, which tasks would you have loved to be involved in? My favourites are mainly the ones that lasted over a few day. From Series 1 - The baby task with Juanita. From Series 2 - I have a few.. The playground task, First Aid one, the dance task, and the job exchange. Although for making me cry with laughter that accolade must go to the Clay Heads task! The unveiling had me in tucks.. Helen- "I look like my dad!" Series 3 - oops! Nothing I can remember at all! Series 4 - The Opera task and the gymkhana one. Series 5 - Again nothing stands out for me. Maybe when it all boils down, it is the people who are involved and not just the tasks, that makes them memorable. Your view? |

How did you get on with your haggis-hunt, Sticks? I'm afraid I didn't get to a Burns' supper this year but I did have some Haggis soup yesterday in Glasgow. |
