Anyone who knows me, knows I don't like the honors system.
But fair enough, if Paul McCartney or Mick Jagger wants me to call them Sirs, then fine. They have achieved one heck of a lot in their lifetimes, so okay. But I had a laugh this week at Rod Liddle who was guesting on Talk Radio. He was slagging of Starmer like there was no tomorrow, and rightly so. But still Liddle couldn't resist bowing down to Starmer calling him a Sir four times. Liddle showing 'respect' after saying so many bad things about Starmer. It didn't add up. Liddle didn't have to call Starmer a Sir (not everyone does) but he did. Liddle bowing down, taking off cloth cap in respect. He wasn't do it mocking Starmer. He meant it. Just made me laugh. |

He really didn't handle that interview well
Thing is, he didn't have to put himself forward for leader of the party, he knew what would happen to his family. It was his personal choice Last edited by bots; 26-09-2024 at 05:49 PM. |
