I once pulled out of a bet and lost my hand as a direct result.

My typing speed was reduced by 50% and I had to give up spaghetti and skipping - so nut is right there are dire consequences for those crazy people who decide to back out of bets. I only wish someone had told me this at the time

POSTERS TAKE HEED OF MR NUT HE SPEAKETH THE TRUTH!!!!

Cr*p! Siavash owes Marcus nothing! Shame on Marcus for claiming it! Siavash should of told him to bog off!

siavash put a bet on with marcus for £1,000 if noirin got her tits out in the 1st week then marcus would pay siavash £1,000 if she did not then siavash said he would pay marcus £1,000! they both said it both shook hands on it on national TV.

meecha i bet your the type of person who would be happy to clame the winning bet but as soon as you lost you would turn round and say it was a joke and not pay up. I hope one day you do that to someone and then you will find out just how real the bet was and wish you payed it when you had the chance[/rquote]

No - I have the sense to know that bets like that are just a joke - a bit of a laugh! Anyone seriously trying to claim the money from a bet like that - is a sad sod!

[/rquote]it was a serious bet did you see it? marcus even bet he would put his dick through the mangle you dont put a bet on like that as a joke FFS why put your self through pain just for a joke? they both shock hands when you shake on somthing it stands the losser pays up just like siavash did, but not with his own money!(no joke siavash payed up if it was a joke he would not have) sorry meecha your a *******ing idiot if you think that bet was a joke and even more of an idiot if you think siavash should not have payed up.

As i have said i hope one day you make a bet and pull out of it and see where that gets you you dont know much about life or seen very little iv seen people get stabbed for making bets just like the one siavash and marcus made the person that acted like you say " its only a joke bet" got stuck and almost died because of it, pay up or never make a bet and shake on it.

Either you are a complete drama queen who has been watching too many gangster movies - or - if you choose to make bets with the type of people that act like that - more fool you!

Marcus may have his issues - but somehow I don't think he was going to relieve Siavash of any of his body parts if he didn't cough up! It would be morally wrong of Marcus to demand the money under any circumstances - but particularly if he knew Siavash could only pay up - using the money Sophie gave him!

As another member said - Siavash earned that money anyway having to prance around in that leotard and high heels - and Sophie clearly has no problem with it - so why do you!

Maybe Siavash plans to pay it back - who knows - you certainly don't! You are making lots of wild assumptions based on nothing!

it does not mater who you bet with if you shake on it you pay up thats the way things are done. I can see the type of person you are if you bumped into someones car in a supermarket you would just drive off without puting your contact number on the windscreen thats what the world as become full of people just like you that would go back on your word.

back to the bet, the bet was placed weeks before the sophie and siavash talking about charity it was a bet that would have involved they'er own money nothing to do with charity, it was siavash paying with charity money that marcus won fair and square from siavash, siavash payed with charity money that is wrong not wether the bet was wrong the bet was agreed the losser payed out with charity money even though the bet was made weeks before all the sophie siavash charity talk.

as for watching gangster movies you can say what you like thats why i never have any problems with anyone if i say im going to bet someone and shake on it I make sure iv got the money and will pay up if i lose! by the sounds of it you would not and i hope one day you pay the piper for your beliefs be it gambling or anyother path you take in life you deserve every thing you get! you sound a right *******ing ******* if you think its ok to pay of your debt with charity money and would go against your word by not paying up even when you should.

good luck in life from what iv seen of you your not a very nice person and i hope someone give it all back to you! i *******ing mean that from the bottom of my hart good luck you are going to need it

I wouldn't be daft enough to gamble my hard earned cash in the first place! I spend my money wisely!

You get so worked up about nothing - you are going to give yourself a heart attack if you are not careful!

And I get the distinct impression from the abusive language and name calling you use - that I am a much nicer person than you!

[/rquote]I am not a nice person ill give you that, but i can give my word as bond and will never back out of somthing i have agreed on, what does that say about you meecha?

I can also see that siavash is in the wrong and I do not make up stupid excuses for him like you are doing. fact he payed is debt out of money that was ment to go to charity even though he made the bet using his own money because there was no talk of charity money at the time the bet was placed.

siavash kept to his word and payed marcus, he knew the bet was real, yet you thought it was not real?

so meecha - do you think it acceptable to pay off gambling debts with money that was ment to go to charity? yes/no?

I do not consider the 'debt' legitimate - as I suspect neither do most reasonable people! If Siavash chooses to pay it - that is up to him! What money he uses to pay it with - is between him and his conscience - neither of us know the facts! Just hearsay!

If true (which I doubt) - my point is that Marcus was equally to blame - if he expects payment knowing what the money was intended for!

the bet was placed by 2 adults who shock on it both said they would pay once they got out of the house! most people know that when someone shakes on a bet thats they'er word on somthing its bond.

It does not matter if you think the bet was legitimate or not 2 people agreed to pay out if they lost! the losser payed out well done siavash for keeping to his word! the wrong thing is he used money that was not his that sophie won, but said she would give it to siavashe's 2 charitys siavash asked sophie to pay off marcus £1100 from that money that was ment to go to charity!

we know the facts we saw it on TV they both put a bet on siavash lost! marcus as said siavash is paying him out of the money sophie's mother is looking after and sophies mother is a really nice woman.

marcus put the bet on using his own cash so did siavash using his own cash! siavash payed with charity money!

so meecha was siavash right to pay off marcus with money that was not his? yes or no?

Like you, I would not spend my cash on gambling and would certainly not do so with friends.

Unlike you, I feel that personal honour is very important. If you don't agree with betting, then don't do it. However, if you have given assurances that you have participated in an agreed bet, then if you lose, honour demands you pay up.

Anything less, are the morals of the untrustworthy and deceitful.

Also as to Siavash using Sdogfaces money to pay of his gambling debts, he said on TV that it was for charity. He has no right to use that money for any other purpose, it does not belong to him

So dreary. I wish they'd grow up. They're like 10-year-olds in a school yard.
