What a sad waste of life. He had kids, was respected in his field, I mean I don't know his life or why he was on drugs, maybe he was depressed, maybe he just liked the escapism of it, but it's like when Amy Winehouse died... it's not that I don't have sympathy I just can't really feel sad about these things when that person was pushing themselves to that point, it wasn't a tragic accident... when you think of heroin addiction you do think of ravaged people who can't string a sentence together but Corey Monteith's death and now Philip Seymour Hoffman's death just go to show that you can't always tell by looking at a person that they have a drug problem that's spiralled out of control... :/

Generally speaking drug addictions aren't a "why am I doing this?" kind of thing, but a "I have to do this" one...
