I can't seem to find the cis comment (you win? but it was there), however 'typical straight white male' was a good one.
http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...1&postcount=88 Edit - Apparently homophobia doesn't exist for straight black males, straight asian males etc...It' just typical what straight male. Last edited by Swan; 22-12-2019 at 10:44 PM. |

If I said I was a cis woman in my circle of friends they wouldn’t have a clue what I was on about. We are at an age where labels don’t count for a thing, we take things, especially people, on face value. Live and let live. |

It's meant to be used in debates related to gender, now general conversation, its hardly a hard concept to grasp
I'm ****ing six ciders drunk and I have no trouble understanding it lmfao

From the diversity thread:
"I don't agree with them because they are wrong. I am aware of the world around me and it's not the wonderland that so many people are making it out to be. Straight white cis men are the most privileged people in our countries and even though they face some issues of their own it is not because they are straight white cis men or spotty or ugly. " (Can't directly quote since it's locked but have a look yourself) And in this thread, Jessica explains why she used "cis" in conversation: Am I missing something? |

There are many names/labels for things/people etc in this world that are only relevant at certain times/in certain discussions etc and that's literally all it is. A distinction when discussing trans topics. Last edited by Marsh.; 23-12-2019 at 02:55 AM. |

...I don’t ever recall being referred to as cis in any debate...or seeing anyone else referred to as such...it would surely only be used as a descriptor if a specific definition was in context to what was being said...I wouldn’t say it would be very widely used as a general...

If you have transitioned to a women then I don’t feel the need to make a distinction. If Fred became Freda I wouldn’t refer to her as Trans or woman, just Freda. |

I'm sure you wouldn't refer to Fred/Freda as "human" in everyday parlance, and yet the word is there when it is useful in certain discussions. Last edited by Marsh.; 23-12-2019 at 11:36 PM. |

which indirectly is the point the OP was making. A term was being used in an attempt to classify him in a group to make a point rather than add value to the debate.

...that isn’t what happened though, Bots...what was actually said in another thread has already been established and it wasn’t used to classify anyone and it did have a value to what was being debated...
