The Pretty Reckless are an American post-grunge band, fronted by Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen [often mistaken for a child prostitute]. In 2008, they were signed to Interscope Records and toured as a supporting act to the Veronicas.

They released their debut eponymous EP in 2009, along with their first single Make Me Wanna Die. Their album, 'Light Me Up' is scheduled for release in late August with second single Miss Nothing hitting radios soon.

Front woman Momsen has often been compared to Hole front woman, Courtney Love, comparisons which she has dismissed. Taylor is known for her now infamous penchant for thigh ripped stockings, garters and heavy black eye make up.

I really dislike Taylor though, immature little tart. She needs to get the eff over herself and start acting and dressing her age. She tries too hard to act all cool with her f u attitude, the smoking, the knife comments, her so called 'fashion'.. urgh! The sooner she/Jenny is axed from GG.. the better. [/rantover]

I absolutely HATE Taylor.

She's 16 and dresses like a streetwalker, disses the show that made her famous and people 10 times more successful than her, constantly swears in interviews and is always droning on about how she makes 'real music'.

Yeah, I love TPR but Taylor is really annoying. I used to like her but now she gets on my nerves. I love some of her clothes though (the non-prozzie ones).

Yup, she did. Leighton was really sweet when asked if she'd consider a collaboration and said she loves Taylor's music and would like that. But when Taylor was asked she just goes 'Yeah....not gonna happen' in a really rude way.

The was she dresses is actually disgusting. She wears glorified lingerie basically. she was photographed the other day wearing these shoes that stripped wear in strip joint that have plastic platforms that punters can slip money into with 'TIPS' written across them. :| wtf?! that's so innappropriate.

And people give Miley a hard time....

There's another of her with a pack of cigarettes in her garter. For someone who takes their 'real music' so serious she obviously isn't taking care of her voice if she's smoking at 16 years old.

But whatever I try not to focus on that because the music is awesome and she does have a real talent.

It really is awful, and yup I've seen them pics.. when I saw them shoes I was literally like :O! Oh well, it's up to her if she wants to dress like a disgusting skank.. just baffles me how her parents actually allow her to dress and act like that. I also hate how they changed Jenny as a character to like suit Taylor.

Yeah they really have bent over backwards to suit her. Hopefully when Jenny returns next season she'll be more like how she was in Season 1.

I really don't get her parents at all. I'm thinking maybe she had them emancipated or something because I can't imagine even the worst of parents being ok with their just 16 year old daughter crawling around in lingerie on a table surrounded by guys in their 40s.
