The unlucky-in-love star had convinced herself Preston, 28, was “The One” after he wooed her with promises of romantic trips to Paris and cozy dates around London.

But the fairytale came crashing down after an ill-fated dinner in which the indie singer pleaded for sex back at his house, but was left frustrated because she wanted to take things slowly.

Within days, Preston appeared to have left a post on his blog declaring his ex-wife was now “nothing more than a friend”.
