His first take USA Warners blocked this one This came out as a bonus track on his remaster CD 2004 33 and a half. 1976 Recorded. USA Warners let this 2nd version "Save The World" out as it smears the Russians. this was out in 1981 Sign Of The Times Last edited by arista; 27-11-2013 at 04:02 PM. |

It's unfortunate that he was in a band alongside L&M. Would have been really interesting to see what GH would have achieved as the leader of his own band. Great artist.

George was the best of the Beatles,I loved his stuff especially "while my guitar gently weeps",so underrated.

Interesting track.
I am not that familiar with his work in all honesty but I like most of what I have heard that he released. |

Yes the First Take "Tears of the World" got the Warner Bros Record boss angry words like "Big Business Calling Every Tune" was a dig at Warners and the Record Company paid in Advance for Musicians , Engineers and Studio Time. So while he was alive that track was put in the Vaults. Last edited by arista; 27-11-2013 at 06:39 PM. |
