Hi, I think my android phone has a virus :/
Since installing an app yesterday from google play store all apps no longer work and google play services keeps crashing every 15 seconds. I was thinking of plugging my phone into a PC to backup my photos/videos so that I can do a factory reset on my phone to see if that helps. But I was wondering though: if I plug my phone into a computer, will my phone then infect the computer with the virus?? |

No, if you have a virus through an app on Android (it's more than likely to be malware) then plugging it in to your computer won't affect Windows..
You could back up your files like you mention above then try to download a free app for scanning/removing it from the play store (if it doesn't crash). I'm sure google play has a free malwarebytes anti malware app. |

Thanks for the reply. I did already have an antivirus app but it turned out there wasn't a virus after all. There was a problem with android and so I reinstalled it. All fine now. Thanks anyway
