Default Best goals your team have scored?

Top 5 goals that I've seen Stevenage score:

5.Barry Hayles vs Slough-Got the ball by the corner flag and managed to turn past about 4 defenders before slotting it past the keeper.
4.Anthony Eldings vs Northwich-35 yard screamer
3.Dale Binns vs St.Albans-Got the ball with his back to goal and just turned and volleyed it in from an impossible angle
2.George Boyd vs Tamworth-Great run down the right wing by Craig Dobson, few stepovers before putting in a low cross and then Boyd flicks it up and overhead kicks it into the goal.
1.Gary Crawshaw vs Woking-semi final of the FA Trophy with not long left and he get's the ball down the right wing and just lobs it over the keeper from a good 30 yards out

What about the top 5 goals you've seen your team score?

Nice topic Dan, this sure brings back some great memories of being a Gillingham fan.

1. Andy Hessantahler in 99/00 play off semi final, we were loosing the first leg 3-1 away from home and in the last minute he popped up with a cracking shot that went right into the top corner, our fans went completely mental.

2. Ty Gooden in the FA CUP back in 2002 against Arsenal at highbury, he beat off the challenges from Patrick Vieira and Wiltord before sending an impudent lob over the head of Wright from 20 yards.

3. Bob Taylor against Bristol City the year we got promoted from the old division three, we got a free kick and he buried it in the top corner from an almost impossible angle.

4. Andy Thomson against Wigan in the 99/00 play of final (my personal favourite day ever in football), it went right to the wire but in extra time Thommo one us the game with a great headed goal.

5. Bob Taylor against Burnley back when we got promoted, it's not really that he scored one particular goal he got five in one game at turf moor and every one of them was so well taken.

There you have it, could have easily choose more but these ones were all pretty special.

That must have been pretty special having one of your players score such a classy goal against Arsenal.

Two of the goals from last nights game against Stafford sounded pretty special.30 yard curling free-kick from Mark Hughes but the 1st goal by Morison sounded outstanding-Nutter passed it down the left to Guppy who found Morison with a delightful pass and with his back to goal he flicked it up twice turning in the process before spotting the keeper of his line and lobbed him with aplomb from 20 yards.

Dennis Bergkamps hat trick against leicester in 1997. Still the only player to get 1st, 2nd and third on MOTD goal of the month.
