Was it a case of sexism against Women standing up for themselves while Men are allowed to, put up for that by a Maj Female Audience. Is that why she was EVEN put up ?
Think we all know why she went. The shallowness that more of Maj Female audience fancied Akeem. But i just cant fathom why she was put up unless it s those that put her up were displaying sexism. That Men can stand up for themselves but Women aren t allowed to. i thought she was brilliant when she stood up to Lewis G and Isaac. Both of them deserved it. i heard bit of rubbish prob on BOTS about how Kenaley had been too aggressive towards Isaac. i mean, the sheer hypocrisy of that. It was obviously Isaac who was the more aggressive one, leaning over a much smaller person than him and growling down at her in an aggressive way. She did well to tell him where to get off with that one. Any Real Men if there were any sitting nearby would have stood up and protected her to tell him to shut the f up and sit back down. Unfortunately there were no real men nearby to do that so Kenaley had to do it herself. She should have been rewarded and thought more highly of for standing up to them and not put up for it, if that s what it was mainly about, that Men can stand up for themselves but the viewers were fitting in with the stereotype brainwashed into them, doing no good for the cause of Women as a whole, that Women are not meant to stand up and defend themselves. |

It was a case of voting for your favourite housemate and as Kenaley hadn’t been shown that much compared to some others, not as many people voted for her
Still don’t understand why it wasn’t Sian though |

She was nominated because she didn't offer anything all that interesting and was less entertaining than other housemates. Nothing less, nothing more.

That's because they are usually not very nice , entitlled and gobby, but I don't think Kenaley was too bad, the public obviously didn't take to her so much, but doubt it was to do with her colour.

it was an isabelle landslide anyway iirc but unless the voting number are that low tibb can severely influence vote to win its still concerning since debs had like 50% of the airtime that week with the kieran/hannah storylines and got less votes than someone who had like one story arc with chanelle 20 episodes ago Last edited by Elliot; 15-10-2018 at 11:37 AM. |

I think this whole thing comes down to how the producers usually cast black women. If you look at most series, you will see that there's a black woman casted based off stereotypes - so the loud, gobby, argumentative type. Some examples would be Adele (argumentative), Makosi (all three lol), Charley, Alexandra, Sylvia, Sophia, Gina and Toya. To claim that the public are voting housemates out purely based on the fact they are black, is a silly thing to say and believe. |
