Adrian Edmondson makes his debut in EastEnders as Jean Slater’s (Gillian Wright) fellow cancer patient in hospital – and his alter ego Daniel doesn’t instantly hit it off with Jean when she doesn’t take well to his sense of humour! As Jean anxiously undergoes her chemotherapy treatment, she meets Daniel but he instantly annoys her. And when he carries on winding her up, she snaps and throws a glass of water over him. But could the bickering turn to affection as Daniel starts to regret upsetting her?
