[The new design, which the Bank describes as its most secure,
enters circulation on 20 February next year.] [The note is replacing the current £20 note featuring the economist Adam Smith. Of the five characters on banknotes by the end of 2021, other than the Queen only Jane Austen - who has appeared on the £10 note since 2017 - is a woman.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49987329 Last edited by arista; 10-10-2019 at 12:10 PM. |

Brexit 50p's! Does that not just sum up Little England, a bag of Fish 'n' Chips wrapped in a double spread newspaper of Boris Johnson's face, paid for with a handful of Brexit based coins
Though just "chips" soon enough I guess. Heh. |
