Tunisia's football federation (FTF) has written to the Confederation of African Football (Caf) to complain about their game with Mali ending 13 seconds early.
The Tunisians were trailing 1-0 when Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe, said to have suffered sunstroke, blew early. He had already whistled for full-time after 85 minutes, only to notice his error and continue the match. "We will do whatever it takes to defend the rights of the national team," FTF official Hussein Jenaieh said later. "We are not children." |

Sadio Mane scored as Senegal beat nine-man Cape Verde 2-0 in the last 16 at the Africa Cup of Nations, but was immediately forced off with concussion.
Mane curled in off the underside of the crossbar soon after keeper Vozinha had been dismissed over a nasty clash of heads with the Liverpool forward. Mane continued despite appearing to be briefly knocked out in the incident. After celebrating his goal he lay down on halfway, and before the game restarted he was led off the field. -------------- It's crazy |
