If it goes ahead, more and more countries will withdraw from the ICC, which is what it deserves if it's playing politics

Yet everybody agreed when the same thing was done against Putin, the only people playing politics are the genocide loving zionists that think Israel should be above the law and allowed to murder as many children as they want to.

America has no power against the icc, they can’t control who does and doesn’t get held accountable for their crimes

They don't have one for Putun? Or Assad? Or Aung San Suu Kyi? Strange...

america is not signed up to the ICC, so the ICC has no hold over america. What i am saying is that more and more countries will leave it, which means it ends up with no jurisdiction. That's a simple reality of what will happen

If it can't seek to investigate potential war crimes without members simply leaving as soon as they disagree with an investigation on politician grounds, then they already have no meaningful jurisdiction.

But we're in late-stage postmodern civilisation so this is par for the course - the social contract breaks down, laws become meaningless. It was ever thus.

Try to impose Covid restrictions like was done successfully in 2020 and see what happens in 2024. The illusion of compliance and authority is all but gone in the western world, whether that's on an individual or geopolitical level.

it's like everyone assuming labour will win the next election. The political world is just not the same now as any previous election, so i wouldn't bet on anything

On that front to be fair there are actual indicators of how it will go in terms of actual meaningful polling/local elections etc... it would take a lot for the Tories to not be absolutely slammed at the GE. Public tide has turned - they're no longer a fashionable choice, and no longer have the "glory hunter" effect (i.e. the people who will simply vote for whichever party they think is going to win, so that they can claim the victory and celebrate the win).

I'm not convinced it'll be a Labour landslide though, probably looking at a minority government, a coalition less likely. The main difference is that I don't think there'll be a clear major opposition party - it'll be Labour in power and a gaggle of opposition parties. Tories not massively ahead of the traditionally smaller parties in terms of seats.

But we will see. As you say, hard to predict anything until a few weeks before the vote at this point. Who bloody knows what ****storm global event will have kicked off by then.

There are No Reporters in Gaza,

The ICC can not just take the word of the Terrrorist Hamas.

Of course, it can take months for these judges
to get a final decision.

But America does not back them.

They should first get the full support of America
before doing this which has become a Farce

The US isn't a member of the ICC so they didn't need its backing.

Even though the US isn't a member of thee ICC, it donated money to it when they were going after Putin.

Did you watch the ICJ hearings?
124 countries voted for this... two withheld and one voted against it.

it doesn't matter at all if the USA agree with it or not. All it means is he wont be arrested if he visits America

Exclamation

As President Joe Biden has said, to draw any sort of moral equivalence between the
Islamist terrorists, rapists and murderers of Hamas with the leader of a democratically-
elected government in the midst of a war that was initiated by those self-same terrorists is
outrageous. It is virtue-signalling on a global scale and it is utterly unjustified.

So naturally, David Lammy has backed it.

Starmer should sack this thick aggressive nasty man

Seven British ministers – including Rishi Sunak, David Cameron, Grant Shapps and Kemi Badenoch – must be investigated for aiding Israel

With the ICC’s chief prosecutor issuing an application for an arrest warrant against Israel’s prime minister for “war crimes and crimes against humanity”, attention must turn to those who have aided Israel.
British ministers have for months been materially assisting Israel during its onslaught against Palestinians in Gaza. This support is being provided in three main ways.
First, the UK is providing arms to Israel. Recently filed court documents reveal that, as of January this year, the UK government had 28 extant and 28 pending “high-risk” licences with Israel marked as “most likely to be used by the IDF in offensive operations in Gaza”.
On 18 January, Israeli forces bombed a residential compound in Gaza housing the emergency medical team of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), a British charity. Four British doctors were injured in the airstrike, alongside MAP staff members and a bodyguard.
The attack was carried out by an F-16 jet, components for which have been supplied by UK companies.
But the UK continues to arm Israel, rejecting repeated calls by campaign groups, former supreme court judges and some MPs to halt them...continues.

It’s alright, the genocide lovers will be happy to know that even after this has come out, Israel have continued to bomb hospitals and shoot children, so it doesn’t seem to be having much of an effect right now

Is Declassified UK a reputable source?

In late July 2020 a military officer on temporary loan to the Defence
Communications Directorate put forward a brief suggestion that Declassified
should be put on a list of organisations which the Department would not
engage with, or rarely engage with, because it was not considered a
reputable source of news.

Depends on your media bias. That said, its all over YT and with the ICC prosecutor Karim Khan, speaking these very words.
