So here we are in the final week, and it seems it’s Ali’s to lose. My question is, is she pulls this off, is the Red Witch the greatest game player in Big Brother history?

Let’s examine.

She surrounded herself with expendable happy idiots early in the game. She loaded the bullets, the likes of Daze, Martha, Dean fired them and were duly evicted.

She challenged the “patriarchy” solo. Particularly in the early days vs Khalid. She was the epitome of a strong, independent woman facing down the cool kids. She was intelligent enough to realise she may have gone in too strong on Khalid, turned her fire on Marcello, cried and threatened to leave in the diary room & broke out the Palestine/trans rights T Shirts when she was up for eviction. When it became obvious Khaled & Marcello weren’t as unpopular as she thought, she completely softened to them and backed off.

She knows her enemy. Nathan is the closest to her intelligence wise. She has never once taken him on. Instead it’s been an arm’s length, loose alliance. She was the first to undermine Rosie, but knew she was popular in the house, so instead did it via the diary room. She showed Hanah compassion, then confronted her for her differing reactions to Emma & Ali during HoH.

Lily. Her biggest asset and her biggest rival. She played the caring big sis protector role perfectly. She got in on Lilys screen time, defended her to the house, comforted her, led her and most importantly enabled her. The difference between winning & top 3 was always going to be how she handled the Lily situation. She played it beautifully. “Keep being you Lily, (keep getting nominated), “the public love you Lily” (don’t worry if you’re up, they won’t vote you out) Gave Lily enough rope to hang herself without having to turn on her. And she’ll absorb the vast majority of Lily fans.

This has been a multi tiered, high level game plan on both the house & the viewers. She’s been the strong female lead, the protector, the underdog, the vulnerable, the compassionate & the martyr.

Surely there has never been a game plan executed as well in the history of BB. An absolute masterclass.

I've said it once and I'll say it again,I'm surprised Ali didn't apply for The Traitors, she'd be an excellent player . Kiss of death assasin , calculating & ruthless.

And she has executed her plan perfectly ,and fooled everyone. She will probably win now. She knew exactly what she was doing by getting her claws in Lily ,by enabling her...when we can all see by her facial expressions and know that she's thinking " oh hell " every time Lily screams & she's really disgusted by Lily's habits and annoying behaviour. But she covered it up by acting like some caring ' mother / sister ' role model.

She is 38 ,and will likely have watched alot of previous BB series ' aswell,and likely studied what she thinks or knows will get her popularity. She kept changing her strategy like a chess player.

I'm not sure it was a game plan, I reckon that's just her. I think Lily probably annoyed her but she'd tied herself to her on day 1 so just stuck with her

I genuinely believe most of that, however interesting to read, is work of fiction.

Wouldn't say she's the greatest game player in BB history, someone like her would have had no chance 10 or 15 years ago. She's been such a misery, so cynical, and self absorb. She just knows how to the play the voting public. She's fully aware of the majority of the voting demographic. After Friday, she's gonna be one of the most predictable winners ever. Nothing she says or does will mean a thing now, by default she has it in the bag. It's just one of those things.

The last week in BB is always pretty anti climatic, nothing much really happens. Friday was the big one. In any case, i stand to gain £200 when she does win next week, so im ok with it tbh

No, she TRIED to be but every one of her in house strategies imploded. Her in house gameplay was a disaster. What she did do well was identify the audience and pander to the X/ Reddit hivemind very well. She played them 100% so I guess that might qualify as good gameplay?

If she had just sat there as a gay woman wearing her performative protest tee shirts, and as the poster child of 'autism' (for some weird reason, when she isn't even autistic), she would still be in the same place.

So if you consider being gay and wearing current thing graphic tees a 'masterclass' in game playing I guess you have a case. I mean, it's enough to get the X/ Reddit mob on side so maybe it is and maybe this is the future of BB....

Show up, be gay, be on this or that spectrum, wear a current issue tee... Basically, be a cause... Win.

I posted more or the same on the night she had the argument with Marcello (minus the part about the T-shirts) I predicted if she could find a way out of the Lily situation then she would win. So in my defence I’m not working back from the end, I said the same thing 3 weeks ago.

I don't think she is the greatest gameplayer in history, but she definitely knows how to work people and their own neurosis to her advantage.

She got her biggest break when the poc alliance mocked her and called her the red witch

She then was seen as the victim and that changed people’s opinion of her
She then played on that at every opportunity and tells everyone that she is picked on for giving truthful opinions while others take the easy root
Standing by lily showed her in a good light as a caring person trying to protect a young girl

She has played the out cast very well

Lily is the reason she will win imo. However I have seen much better gameplayers.
