Nice Rogers (Producer of "Like A Virgin" album) is planning to oversee the remastering of it, so I can't wait... the last remaster was 2001 - we need a new one with all the trimmings.

Madonna’s new album is now almost ready for mastering, which is the final stage of a recording process.

As we can see from one of Madonna‘s latest Instagram stories, almost every track has now been mixed and is ready for final processing.

We can decipher that Madonna has approved all the 15 tracks listed on the working board. Mostly, mastering is important to make an album sound cohesive. It is also imperative to be sure that the album sounds good across systems: from hi-fi speakers to low budget speakers and headphones.

When the mastering is done – which takes not longer than a couple of days – the album is ready.

Are you excited?! We can’t wait to listen to what is shaping up to be a new Madonna masterpiece.

"Addicted" should've been on the standard edition of the album instead of just the deluxe. Love it.

It really was great. I loved all of the bonus tracks on the super deluxe. Graffiti Heart and Beautiful Scars

Perched for the new album. Hoping the Mirwais reunion brings the goods! American Life is probs my favourite album of hers.

Oh yeah, some of the bonus tracks were better than some of what ended up on the album. lol. The ballad versiion of "Jaon of Arc" was also meant to be on the super deluxe but they dropped it at the last minute - shame really, as I thought it was the best version.

I like American Life, but it's a bit to preachy / political for me... I prefer "Music", tbh.

What did you think of the other album's?

I'm not sure what she means by finishing ther album...they complete it a couple of weeks ago apparently... unless she means shooting the album artwork etc...

I think Rebel Heart, as much as I love it, would've been better suited as a double album with the 'rebel' and the 'heart' tracks split up. Or edited down a lot more. One or the other haha.

I've loved almost everything by her. My least favourite album would probably be MDNA but even then I bop to it.

Like a Prayer, I'm Breathless, Erotica, Ray of Light, Confessions... I could go on...

The albums you listed are what I consider to be her best too... her masterpieces. MDNA has it's moments but I felt they went with the wrong song choice for the single - it should've been "I'm Addicted" or "Gang Bang". "Falling Free" is so beautiful.

Yes, Madonna said a double album was her initial plan for the RH album, but Interscope didn't like it and that's why they were all jumbled up.

One disc for the Rebel songs like "Unapologetic Bitch" and the second one for songs like "Wash All Over Me" and "Heartbreak City". I would have been interesting to see how that turned out.

Yeah, I've been a big fan for about 10 years now

I really liked Hung Up/Sorry/Jump but it wasn't until 4 Minutes came out that I actually dived in and started listening to everything by her.
Madonna, then Prince, then Kylie, then Gaga, all came into my life around that time. Truly magical.

Went to Melbourne to see the Rebel Heart Tour, it was amazing.

The show I was at is actually what they use in the DVD when she throws the bouquet and has the conversation with the audience member.
