It's actually scary , stay in groups ladies or try and get a taxi home safely . I would never walk the streets at night... it's bad enough creeps still hover about in the daylight, but at night ... it'll be worse especially if booze is involved and they're hanging about with their mates.

I'm thinking of investing in a personal alarm & some type of self defence spray , nobody wants to get harassed like that. Especially when you're just trying to go about your daily life.

Definitely agree with you but I will add that the reporter was going to get more attention than a woman wearing a hoodie with head down

Theres a reason why they have to wear burkas in their countries.
It will be neccessary in the uk soon if you dont want to be harrassed or worse.

Yes - the draconian and misogynistic laws that require it. They were not brought in for women's safety.

It's linked, but in FAR more complicated ways than what's being suggested, and ultimately increased "modesty standards" actually lead to a worsening situation. Doesn't take long to get from "they should wear a hoodie not a crop top" to "showing an ankle is a sign of promiscuity".

Importing thousands upon thousands of young men from countries where women are treated like dirt and then cramming them into our cities and towns and expecting everything to be fine

madness

At the end of the day wear a burka or expect problems. This is our reality now.

If only one of them had assaulted her, he might have been able to run as a reform candidate eh?

It's laughable and a tad ignorant you even think a burka would stop a weirdo or pervert, he or they will still harass the woman even more.

Those countries you're referring to have alot of rape & assaults that likely go unreported , a man even dressed up in full hijab gear undercover somewhere in the middle east just so he could see how bad it is. Every second he was approached by unwanted attention..... by some creep, who thought he had a right to intimidate a woman who's by herself.

At the end of the day if you're a woman by yourself regardless of what you're wearing, you're more vulnerable especially in the night life.

Oop there’s the reason you posted it. I was surprised when I initially opened the thread. It’s not the women you were worried about, it’s the immigrants.

"Earlier this year, ITV News interviewed more than 1,000 young adults.

Our report found that more than eight out of 10 young women feel unsafe
walking home alone in the dark.

And more than six out of 10 feel unsafe on their own in a bar.

The sad reality is that when I saw the results, I expected the numbers to be
higher."

The reporter wasn't naked...I bet even if she was in jogging bottoms & hoodie they'd still be someone bothering her .I get your point about certain clothing getting more ' attention ' . Sometimes yes it can.

But then you could say if you're wearing a fancy chain or gold watch are you more likely to be mugged ?.... Or would you still be at risk of a mugging if your jewellery was hidden in your pocket or bag. Thugs & creeps will always try it on ...as they see an opportunity.

So yes we should try and be safe and not draw attention, but you could be minding your own business in a woolly hat and a big coat covering you up ....and still get harassed , hence why I wouldn't walk alone at night. The fact that even in broad daylight stuff happens aswell .

Where did I say that?

For the purpose of the video the reporter who I will add was attractive and fit wore an outfit that would attract more attention than a woman walking in a hoodie and loose fitting track bottoms

Women get hassled but the reason the reporter got approached 20 times in two hours was a combination of her looks and what she was wearing if she was a hoodie the numbers would be much lower

I’m actually insulted but not surprised by your response to me
There is not a man on this forum or doubt in the real world that not only cares about women but has stepped in so many times to see women and girls don’t hassle hurt or abused
I’m the man that women come to when a drunk dick won’t leave them alone
You talk about click bait head lines the 20 men in two hours is one of those headlines

Not all men are animals

There is also a much deeper reason to this issue
Humans are attracted to the opposite sex that’s inbuilt and part the need to mate to repopulate the human race
But with dating sites you tube and schools and television shows ,we have come to believe that you can just walk up to a stranger ask them out or hook up with them without it being a problem.

You can always tell what an LT thread is really going to be about just by reading the title

We are scared of the white men, too do women feel nervous walking past a mob of men no matter the colour? Yes

Does this prove why women want safe spaces away from men? Also yes

Does anyone here actually care about how dangerous it is for women to walk alone at night or is it all just shite to go with your political beliefs? *big brother voice* find out next time, you decide!

I always feel scared walking alone at night. I prefer not too.
Luckily I have a bus that stops right in front of my house from the tube station.
