I'm wondering if Kingfisher is James Nesbitt?

1. He is an actor, so he will be good at changing accents.

2. He starred in Stan Lee's Lucky Man, which would be the clue for the Luck Be A Lady song choice.

3. He was in Cold Feet, which would explain why every VT has him fishing in cold waters.

I could be yeah. I’ve honestly no clue on him.. there’s like 50 people it could be haha

When i saw the fishing clues , i kept thinking Robson Green. But James Nesbit is a good guess. I wonder if we'll get any irish clues? lol .

I'd be happy with Robson Green personally.

Although I am hoping for some Irish clues on my James Nesbitt guess.

…I was just about to ask you if you still felt that it could be Robson Green because I was kind of coming back to him as a possibility again as well…mainly because of the ‘GP/doctor’ clue…a stretch, I know…but didn’t he play a doctor in a series…?..(…probably everyone has played a doctor in a series at some point…)…

Has Robson Green played a doctor ? ...I know he's played detectives .But it's only the fishing thing I have. I'm googling the doctor thing now .

Oh mess I didn't even realise his character in wire in the blood was a 'DR' , I always thought he was a detective. I guess it's like with Robbie Coltrane in cracker...where he is also a psychologist etc ,but he works with the police lol.

…he’s kind of someone that I’m not sure would be part of the show because he seems to be very private but the clue song, Luck be a Lady…?…he also played a main character in a Catherine Cookson series, Gambling Man…

…oh and also…Robson Green was apparently cast as Sirius Black in Harry Potter but then changed to Gary Oldman…the ‘Harry’ clue…?…

You're really good at this Ammi ,I actually didn't know that about Harry Potter. But I definitely agree that the Harry clue is just a link , rather than the name of the person under the mask . So you might be onto something there .

I'll start calling you Miss Marple lol .

…I think that the clues can probably be made to fit many people, that’s the thing…and that’s obviously an intentional thing to keep them vague to keep the interest/guessing going……

…I do think the ‘Harry’ is for a very famous Harry like Harry Potter…but also quite a subtle/lesser known or obvious link…

The costume sometimes is misleading , but yeah I think he's tall ISH . The motorbike clue. .. keeps making me think it's him .
