The BB house isn't a public setting. The producers have a duty of care over the housemates and have to take their concerns seriously, no different to if the comment was made in a work place, it wouldn't be allowed to fly.

This Witch doesn't burn

I said the same in the chat thread last night, something felt off about it ...think Mickey wanted out and they facilitated it so he could be paid rather than walking

Schrödinger's Quato

The difference with Love Island though is that they do it quite openly, some of it is real some of it is overblown, it works because the relationships themselves (while showmancey, obviously) and friendships that form are somewhat real so it's still watchable. It's the same with all the Netflix reality trash (I say that in a positive way, I love crap like Love Is Blind)... The issue is that BB doesn't have a theme like that, the whole concept is that it's meant to just be people in a house and observing what happens. But ITV bought it specifically because of the success of Love Island and have tried to follow the same model.

Or reaction shots is another easy one... Someone says something, cut to someone else looking disgusted, yawning, smirking, laughing or whatever... But that cut-away could be from a totally different time. |

Quand il pleut, il pleut

…one of the big reasons why I don’t think that Mickey leaving was a scripted thing is because Mickey isn’t a reliable fellow conspirator to engineer that with…even in going in, he immediately blurted out that he’d been told to join in with the conga…if they were going to act out such a big conspiracy with any housemate for them to agree to be ejected or whatever and try to make it into a drama…then it wouldn’t have been someone like Mickey who would be most likely to reveal it all straight away and then do they jeopardise their own show and question whether it can continue…I just don’t think that it would make any sense/logic to me at all in this kind of ‘grand scale’ and with a housemate who has such a proven unpredictable character…

…I meant screws up in terms of revealing the ‘conspiracy’ outside of the house straight away and I think that’s not a possibility with Mickey but an almost certainty…for me, if this was going to happen as a conspiracy, it wouldn’t be with Mickey Rourke…

When Trisha said there was a Rat in the Camp...Chris knew she meant him over the way he spoke about other housemates and Ella sitting around...so I think he did what he did by trying to insinuate Mickey by giving him the eye...and it backfired. I dont think it was a set up. |

Only conspiracy would be the show romance that's been set up for Chris, and dumped my boyfriend just before the show, Ellie.

All hail the Moyesiah

I think BB fans can have quite overactive imaginations with things like this honestly. It's not really in the interests of most of the housemates to go along with this and it would come out quite easily

They've had little moments, but Chris' "friendship" with JoJo has thrown a massive spanner in the works. Chris isn't playing ball with the fake romance bollocks, hence Ella's upset as that was the only thing she had to offer in the house.

But it was wanted to be forced upon us by the shows producers. There is vocal evidence straight from the main man's mouth of this on the forum.
