It makes no sense to me whatsoever that someone would defend SS in this situation. She did something to JJ that he obviously didn't want to happen to him. He gave it back to her in return. Why is he the bad guy in this situation? If SS didn't want to end up in the pool, she shouldn't have thrown water on JJ, simple as that.

That is the second time he has thrown her in the water today. The first time she banged her knee the second time she scraped her leg. He should have thrown water back at her. But oh no that wasn't enough for spiteful sulky JJ.

Why take it to a different level and do something silly and potentially dangerous by throwing her in the pool? He threw her in the pool because he knew she was upset at getting her hair wet the last time.

Regardless of the situation that resulted in this he chose to be more spiteful just to hurt her because he wants to get his kicks out of doing it. Weirdo!

I'm beginning to see a pattern with John James. He targets one of the nominees and then waits and sees if they are evicted to test his popularity. Think about it, he did it the first week and Rachael was evicted. He tried to do the same to Ben last week. And this week he is trying to wind Sunshine up. For someone who abhors "gameplayers", he is proving to be one himself.
